The article “The elementary forms of sports fandom: A Durkheimian exploration of team myths, kinship, and totemic rituals” is written by Michael Serzio. In this article, there is an exploration of the sports through a theoretical framework of Durkheim, which can create the foreground for the totemic link between the team and collective symbol. There is an integrated relationship between myths, rituals, kinship (Serazio, 2013).
